Lord, you are my lover, My longing, My flowing stream, My sun, And I am your reflection.

Adoration is a reminding of ourselves that we are recipients of a silent Grace in many different forms. We can focus on what we seem to lack and, thereby, be led to ingratitude and lessening of Love for our Beloved of the Heart, and others. However, adoration is a heartful means of expressing thankfulness to Grace for what we have been given and, likewise, praise of the nature of the Beloved. Adoration fans the Flame of Love. How do we adore the Beloved? By adoring the Sacred in anyone or anything. All adoration is worship, and the One Beloved is in whom and what summons forth our reverence and expression of Love. Therefore, to adore you, I adore the Beloved, for you are one with the Beloved, and you and the Beloved are One.
